THE LENIN MUSEUM

Although the huge Central Lenin Museum is gone for
good, there is a smaller museum in the Smolny
Institute dedicated to the once revered founder of
the Soviet Union. The exhibition includes some great
socialist-realist portraits of Lenin, Stalin, and
other Revolutionary heroes, as well as photographs,
documents, and other memorabilia that used to be on
display in the Marble Palace.
In the Smolny Institute. Admittance by pre-arranged
excursion only, call at least one day in advance.
